Satori Method is based on the self improvement principles of martial arts. This system offers practitioners a way to get in phenomenal shape physically, mentally and spiritually. Satori Method offers a well organized 'method' to increase one's health and fitness level step-by-step. The method utilizes a martial arts process of incrementally moving from one belt level to then next. Essentially students can earn their Black Belt without having to engage in mortal combat! Satori Method is not a martial arts combat system but rather a way to earn your Black Belt in Health and Fitness!

The Core Four:

Today there are tons of fitness programs to choose from. What makes Satori Method unique is its integration of four core ways to get incredibly healthy. The inclusion of the Core Four enable Satori students to strengthen and rejuvenate the body, release mental stress, boost the immune system, slow down the aging process and uplift the spirit. Tristan Truscott, Sensei

Tristan Truscott
, co-owner of the Austin Martial Arts Academy, has spent over 25 years practicing and teaching martial arts, fitness, healing and meditation. He created Satori Method™ by combining mind-body fitness training, goal setting, balanced nutrition, stress relief and meditation techniques, and the healing flow movements from t ’ai chi, qigong and yoga.

Satori Method was inspired by Tristan’s five-year long search to heal his chronic back pain. After those five very challenging years and undergoing an unsuccessful surgery, Tristan realized that he needed to find a way to heal himself. He expanded his study of mind-body methods looking for ways to unravel the mystery behind his pain. After much research, trial and error and wonderful epiphanies Tristan finally discovered a four-part protocol for healing that totally ended his back pain. The healing secrets he discovered were then turned into a course called Mind-Body Magic, which teaches people the exact methods he used to finally end the pain.

After healing his back Tristan continued to develop programs to get his mind and body back into shape. Due to the many years of chronic pain he had not been able to exercise at all. He had gained extra weight; his mental attitude was often one of great depression and unfortunately his diet suffered along with his compromised mindset.

Determined to regain his previous healthy lifestyle Tristan pressed onward by creating daily programs to lose the extra weight, regain his flexibility, rejuvenate his diet, strengthen his musculoskeletal structure and reframe his mindset.
