About T'ai Chi:

T'ai Chi practice emphasizes complete relaxation and is essentially practiced as a form of what has been called "meditation in motion." This curriculum, offered as part of our Satori Method and Mushin Dao classes, will introduce you to the beneficial effects of T'ai Chi on your health & fitness. The slow, graceful movements are designed to relax the mind and strengthen the body and are appropriate for any age or fitness level. Consistent practice of T'ai Chi will gently tone & strengthen your muscles, increase awareness, enhance balance & posture, cultivate relaxation and develop whole body coordination. T'ai Chi practice can also complement traditional treatments for disease.
